Hey.
These are some good tips to go green :drhdgfhbgfhgff
Well,Being green is not hard. It's easy and fun, plus,it saves the earth
!
Turn off the tap when you brush your teeth.Dentists say you should brush your teeth for around two minutes to keep a healthy smile. If you leave the water on,about five gallons could disappear down the drain. That's a lot of water!
Take shorter showers.Where does most of the water goes in your household?Down the drain when you shower or take bath.Showers account for 17% of indoor water use in U.S. homes.Try and keep your shower under 5 minutes to cut down the amount of water you use.
Don't run the dishwasher unless it is full.Newer dishwashers use less water than washing dishes by hand. You can multiply the effect if you wait untill you filled the dishwasher up before you use it!To save even more, don't rinse the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.
Fill a bucket of soapy water to wash a car.Don't just let the house hose run!Your average garden hose uses about 8 gallons of water per minute.Think how much you will save when you use one bucket of soapy water and then one bucket or two to rinse!
Pick up and throw out litter/add trash can.Throwing out trash on ground on street or in a park is rude. But that litter is more than just a nuiasance. It can also wash into storm drains and pollute local waterways and beaches.
