My loss...

My guinea pig, Fiona just passed away. I was very close to her, and she meant so much to me. She died from malnutrition. Which means she wouldn't eat anything. Yes, we brought her to the vet and they said force feed her baby food, which we did. However, she wasn't making stool, and the vet Sid if she doesnt poop then it's fatal. Well, she wasnt pooping, and she died peacefully on 9-27-11 in my arms. 3am. Her breathing got terribly hard so I took her out of cage.. She was breathing shallower and shallower until she just.. Stopped.. I cried an unbearable amount that night. We buried her with her favorite treats and her baby blanket in my backyard.. I keep telling myself this didn't happen... But my little baby fiona is gone.. And she's never coming back.. She was only 3 years old... I'm sorry I need a tissue.. Or 10.
